Tirupur: A 38-year-old lady labourer has sustained serious injuries after a co-worker stabbed her multiple occasions on Thursday.
The sufferer, R Pushpa Rani of Panappalayam in Palladam, was once mentioning her daughter after her husband died a couple of years in the past. “She was once working in a knitwear unit in Vidyalayam. She had requested Raj, 38, of Chengalpet, who was once also working in the same unit, to assist her to get a role. She had long gone out with Raj on Thursday night time. When they reached near the district collectorate, a dispute arose between them and Raj stabbed her multiple occasions the use of a knife. He then fled from the spot,” a police officer stated.
Pushpa Rani was once rushed to the Coimbatore Medical College Hospital with serious injuries. TNN
