KOLKATA: Doctors on the Eastern Command Hospital in Kolkata are waiting for a check file from the National Institute of Virology (NIV), Pune sooner than arriving at any conclusion on the cause of death of Seenu Prasad (27), a soldier of the Signals Regiment. Prasad, posted at Fort William, was once admitted to medical institution on May 20 with Nipah-like signs. He died on Friday. Till the reports arrive, doctors can’t arrive at any conclusion, a defence spokesman stated. Prasad had returned from Kerala after nearly a month’s leave. His falling sick in an instant after the home consult with and the symptoms caused doctors to suspect that he could have been inflamed through the virus.
