Doctors discuss ophthalmology

LUDHIANA: All-India Ophthalmological Society’s academic and analysis committee, in affiliation with the International Council of Ophthalmology and Ludhiana Ophthalmological Society, arranged a convention of teachers in ophthalmology at the auditorium of DMC College on Sunday.

Hero DMC Heart Institute leader heart specialist Dr GS Wader, at the side of Dr Anil Chauhan and Dr SP Singh from Baba Farid University of Health Sciences, Faridkot, threw open the convention. DMCH dean (academics) Dr Rajoo Singh Chhina additionally attended the event. Ophthalmology is a branch of medicine and surgical operation that offers with the anatomy, body structure and diseases of the eyeball and orbit.


Dr Priyanka Arora, an assistant professor of ophthalmology at DMCH, welcomed all the audio system and participating delegates. Dr GS Bajwa, the head of ophthalmology at DMCH, said the sector of ophthalmology was ever-changing and it was the need of the hour to behavior continuing medical education (CME) lessons and conferences at regular durations to update the knowledge of ophthalmologists.
