Ex-cop’s son tries to con police aspirants, held

NAVI MUMBAI: The 24-year-old son of a retired cop has been arrested for allegedly not easy Rs 1 lakh from two women by means of promising them jobs in the police department. The accused, Avinash Dhamse, had promised the ladies from Pune who had been placed on a recruitment wait checklist after clearing bodily and written checks, said an official from the Navi Mumbai crime department.
