Gadkari says no water shortage in India, but calls for better resource management

PANAJI: Releasing a ebook on water productiveness mapping of major Indian crops, Union minister for water assets and Ganga rejuvenation Nitin Gadkari mentioned that there is no shortage of water within the country.


“We must toughen upon the making plans and control of water assets. Our ministry and government are fascinated by innovative tactics for better control of water assets,” Gadkari mentioned whilst he introduced that a proposal for desalination plants at Tuticorin, Paradip and Kandla have been under consideration.
