CHENNAI: Satish Kumar of Maduravoyal may no longer brook the sight of a policeman talking to any person over phone while on duty at a traffic signal. Forgetting the fact that he used to be a heart affected person and that he had gone through two cardiac surgical procedures, the person were given down from his automobile and collected a quarrel with the policeman. After the wordy duel, he collapsed. He died while being rushed to a close-by sanatorium.
Kumar’s son, Vinoth, lodged a police criticism alleging that his father had died after being attacked via the traffic policeman. Based on Vinoth’s criticism, police checked the photos from a CCTV digital camera in the house.
The photos showed Satish Kumar getting down from his automobile, arguing with the policeman who used to be talking at the cell phone, walking again to his automobile and collapsing while looking to open the door.
After confirming that the traffic cop had no longer attacked Kumar, the Maduravoyal police registered a case under CrPC 174 (unnatural demise). They warned Vinoth for submitting a false criticism.
