MUMBAI:The first score cutoff for stage faculties saw scholars from the CBSE board hogging the merit list in best city faculties.
Scores in minority institutes dipped marginally as reservation for backward category scholars was finished away with, thus doubling the pool of seats available for open category applicants.
Cut-offs higher via about 2-4% in common nonminority faculties, particularly for unaided professional lessons like BMS and BSc (IT). In blue-chip faculties like HR, Jai Hind, Mithibai and St Xavier’s, cut-offs fell via a couple of p.c issues however remained prime as in comparison to 2017’s first admission list.
At Xavier’s College, to get into a BA programme required scholars to attain a 98% and 92.46%, if applicants were from the HSC board.
