HYDERABAD: An inter-caste love marriage in a village of Yadadri Bhuvanagiri district triggered suicide of 2 younger enthusiasts from the similar hamlet, but at other places in a span of a couple of hours.
Ok Venkatesh, 25, a native of Redlarepaka vilage in Yadadri Bhuvanagiri, has been running as a driver in Hyderabad. He used to be in love with 22-year-old G Swathi Reddy of the similar village.
On June 18, Ok Venkatesh married Swathi at Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy temple in Warangal with out informing their households. After the marriage, Venkatesh and Swathi went to Veligonda police station in Rachakonda commissionerate and informed police.
“We known as each the households. They (newly-married couple) didn't want to be with their members of the family and made up our minds to head on their own to Hyderabad. We took the remark of the couple and counselled their members of the family to not cause any issues,” Veligonda sub-inspector (SI) Md Idris Ali mentioned.
Two days later, round 2pm on Wednesday, Ok Venkatesh’s neighbour in his native position and also his room-mate in Hyderabad, S Venkatesh, 23, committed suicide by putting at their room in Madhapur. On finding out concerning the suicide of his lover, D Siri, 19, also from Redlarepaka, committed suicide in Repalle the city of Guntur district in AP within the night time.
“After the suicides, S Venkatesh’s father, S Jahangir, who runs a tent area, alleged that on June 19 evening, Swathi Reddy’s father Papi Reddy in conjunction with others got here to his area and blamed his son for taking part in a task in performing the marriage of Swathi and Ok Venkatesh,” the SI mentioned.
