Hyd kid in NASA, shares space with big shots

HYDERABAD: At a time when NASA (National Aeronautics and Space Administration) is talking about imaginable human habitation off Earth, city boy Arham Naukhez returned from the United States after spending nearly two weeks with best scientists on the space agency.


Naukhez, a category nine pupil of Sri Chaitanya Techno School labored on a "space colonization" venture where he created a model on colonization. "It took my team a span of three months to complete our project. The first 15 days of the project was spent on making the design, the rest were spent in accomplishing the task. It was a tough job, but in the end it was all worth the effort." stated Arham.


During their trip, he met widely known writer Mike Mongo and an asteroid skilled from Israel, Nahum Melamed, who's a venture chief at The Aerospace Corporation in El Segundo, California.


Several students at the side of Naukhez on the trip followed an overly strict time table. The first 5 days in their trip was spent in a convention room where they used to hear lectures by means of NASA school and from time to time offered their own tasks.


Dr Shahid Naukhez, Arham's father stated, "When I heard that he was selected for the trip, I was overjoyed. NASA now said that they will be doing further research on his project and will call him when needed. The family will always be there to support him in any way possible."
