HYDERABAD: Chief minister Okay Chandrashekar Rao on Friday prompt Prime Minister Narendra Modi to switch the Bison Polo Ground and Gymkhana grounds belonging to the defence ministry to the state govt for construction of a new Telangana secretariat advanced.
In a memorandum submitted to the Prime Minister during his meeting in New Delhi, Chandrashekar Rao who discussed 10 problems that had to be looked after out, additionally requested that the Centre sanction ?20,000 cr for the ?80,000 cr Kaleshwaram irrigation and consuming water venture. The CM was accompanied by means of chief secretary S Okay Joshi.
During the meeting with the PM, the executive minister identified that the Telangana govt had requested the ministry of defence for switch of defence lands - Bison Polo Ground and Gymkhana Grounds- in Secunderabad for construction of recent Secretariat building, Strategic Road Development Projects (NH 44 and SH 1) and likewise switch of seven.58 acre of defence land (internet area) for construction of six-lane selection highway proposed in lieu of Gough Road.
