Kejriwal to launch door-to-door campaign

NEW DELHI: Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Friday introduced that he's going to release a door-to-door campaign after Sunday if the Centre continues to be mute on their calls for.
Kejriwal, in a video released from the Lt Governor's workplace, requested the party workers to do a an identical campaign like the one they did over electrical energy expenses.


"After Sunday, if there is no response on our demands, go door-to-door and bring sign of at least 10 lakh families. We will forward it to the Prime Minister. He is not responding on my demand, so the people of Delhi will ask him," Kejriwal said.

Kejriwal together with Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia and Cabinet ministers Satyendar Jain and Gopal Rai, had been tenting within the Raj Niwas -- the respectable accommodation-cum-office of LG Anil Baijal -- since Monday night. They persevered for a 5th consecutive day on Friday.

They had been not easy a course to the IAS officers working within the Delhi management to finish their undeclared strike, action against officers who've struck paintings for "four months" and approval to his govt's proposal for doorstep supply of ration to the poor.

The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) had warned of a protest on the Prime Minister's place of abode on Sunday if their calls for weren't met.

He also said that he used to be expecting the LG to approve his demand in sometime, however used to be "astonished to see the IAS strike is still on".

"We wrote to the LG, texted him. We wrote to the Prime Minister. Why has the Prime Minister not ordered the officers to call off their strike. On the other hand, BJP members are protesting to support the officers' strike," Kejriwal added.


He accused the Prime Minister for taking revenge from the folks of Delhi.


"Our government has done so much in the past three years, which is difficult for them (the Bharatiya Janata Party) to explain. They are in power in Madhya Pradesh from the past 15 years, in Gujarat from past 30 years. As they are not able to do developmental work in their states, they want to stop us," Kejriwal added


The AAP convenor also said that he used to be no longer sitting there not easy one thing for himself or his kids.


"I am also not sitting here for AC or sofa. I have it in my house. If you feel I am sitting here for my comfort, go and try to sleep on sofa for four days. We are here for Delhi, for its people," he added.
