NOIDA/GHAZIABAD: A seven-member delegation of native residents opposing the dump yard in Sector 123 met chief minister Yogi Adityanath in Ghaziabad on Monday right through which the latter assured that a assembly of native residents, MP, MLA and Noida Authority can be known as to decide on the factor. However, MLA Pankaj Singh stated that a resolution to move ahead with the dump yard can be taken within the ambit of the law. “The chief minister met the delegation in our presence and he assured them that the problem can be dealt with as per the law and that the apprehensions of the residents can be addressed,” Singh told TOI.


The land earmarked for the waste plant at Sector 123 is just 175.25 metres from Homes 121 and 136 metres and not more than a km from the opposite facet of Garhi Chaukhandi village as per website inspection report carried out on May 25, 2013 and submitted in NGT by a local commissioner appointed by the tribunal itself in 2013. “Garhi is separated by only one road from the landfill website which is less than one kilometre. And that's the road resulting in FNG corridor,” stated Pahalwan.


Meanwhile, FONRWA president N P Singh on Monday stated that each one RWAs are towards the dump yard in Sector 123. “The dumping flooring in Noida has turn into a political factor. All RWAs together with FONRWA are towards any rubbish dump in Noida.
