BENGALURU: Three helmetwearing assailants opened 3 rounds from a countrymade pistol on a businessman within his office at Raheja Arcade in Koramangala, an upmarket locality in southeast Bengaluru, on Saturday afternoon. The sufferer survived the assault.

He used to threaten us with dire penalties if we didn’t supply maize from him and give zero.five% fee (which amounts to almost Rs 30 lakh). We did not agree and continued to do our business. We were getting threats from him for a very long time. In January and March, a few of his males got here and threatened us. However, we did not pay heed.”
