Mangaluru reported 47% of abuse with senior citizens complaining of harassment of different forms. The different towns have been Ahmedabad (46%), Bhopal (39%), Amritsar (35%), Delhi (33%), Kanpur (30%), Chennai (27%), Bengaluru (26%), Hyderabad (24%) and Kolkata (23%).

The average age of abuser is 42. Over 50% of the abusers are skilled workers and working execs.

About 65% elders mentioned kids giving excessive attention to telephones/computer systems is disrespectful whilst 73% felt ‘their kids are too busy on telephone even if they are at house with them’. More than 60% of the aged other folks agreed that high quality time spent via their kids and grandchildren with them lowered vastly and 78% elders blamed social media for this, the report mentioned.
