Markets open flat, trading under pressure

NEW DELHI: Equity markets stayed under power due to global cues even as the benchmark indices recovered from the pink zone where they opened when buying and selling started on Tuesday.

30-share BSE Sensex used to be buying and selling at 35,537.66, up 67 points at nine.56 am. The broader 50-share NSE Nifty used to be up zero.20 in step with cent, in its bid to regain the 10,800-mark.

The Street has been gripped under destructive sentiments as global stocks prolonged a sell-off on Tuesday as an escalating trade fight between the United States and different primary economies recommended buyers away from riskier property.

The sectoral sub-indices were underlining the sedate state of markets with Nifty IT being the one sector buying and selling within the inexperienced. PSU Bank, auto and metal stocks were bleeding the most on Tuesday morning.
