Mum firm robbery: Guj Police arrest 2 accused

AHMEDABAD: Gujarat crime department sleuths on Thursday nabbed two men for their alleged involvement in the loot of Rs 1.25 crore from a Mumbai-based angadiya company a few fortnight in the past.
The arrested individuals were recognized as Pankaj Prajapati (29), a resident of Vastral and Munnalal Sharma (38), a resident of Ramol.

Crime department officials said the accused personal juice centres in Ramol and Vastral and hail from Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh respectively.

Crie department inspector BP Roziya said that they'd met one Jigar Patel on their juice middle in Vastral.

"Jigar Patel told them that Bhavin Patel, an employee of Navin Kantilal Aangadiya Firm in Mumbai has tipped him that if they rob the firm, they would easily get Rs 1 to Rs 1.25 crore," Roziya said.


According to the crime department resources, each Prajapati and Sharma along side their pal Deepak Bhadoria reached Mumbai a few fortnight in the past and met two individuals, Sanju and Sonu.


The subsequent morning, they went to the company's place of job at LT Road and kept an eye outside the angadiya company.


"While Sharma waited outside, the rest barged into the office and fled after robbing Rs 1.25 crore" said against the law department reliable.


"Prajapati and Sharma came back to the city with their share of Rs 3 lakh. Subsequently Mumbai police had nabbed Sonu, Sanju, Jigar Patel and Bhavin Patel while Prajapati and Sharma were at large. We nabbed both of them and have handed them over to Mumbai police," Roziya added.
