MUMBAI: Several spaces of Mumbai received heavy to moderate rainfall accompanied through heavy winds on Sunday. There had been 21 incidents of bushes or their branches falling.
No main incidents had been reported because of the rain. Waterlogging was once reported from from suburbs but BMC claimed that the water receded quickly and did't cause any inconvenience.
BMC officials stated that from morning 7am to evening 7pm, town recorded 43 mm of rainfall while Eastern suburb recorded 55 mm and the Western suburb 30 mm. BMC received waterlogging complaints from 4 puts in the suburbs. The BMC used 60 small pumps to clear the rainwater so as to steer clear of waterlogging.
