BJP slams Kejriwal for sit-in at LG house

NEW DELHI: The BJP on Sunday slammed Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal for "creating drama to further his political ambitions" together with his sit-in protest at the Lt. Governor's (LG) place of dwelling not easy a path to the IAS officials to finish their non-cooperation together with his government.

In a letter addressed to Kejriwal, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Delhi unit leaders and revolt AAP MLA Kapil Mishra mentioned: "You have accomplished everything in your power to shrug off any responsibility that incorporates the placement you cling, we are writing to you with a hope that you would have your moral sense woke up in your moral responsibility...

"After the prevalence of thrashing up the Chief Secretary (Anshu Prakash), officials have refused to meet you at your place of dwelling, while you were absent from your place of work."


Kejriwal, Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia and Cabinet ministers Satyendar Jain and Gopal Rai were tenting at LG Anil Baijal's place of work since June 11.


Referring to problems including dangerous air quality, water crisis and vector borne epidemics within the capital, the letter mentioned that Kejriwal's current bid "to shift consideration from failure" in the governance has pushed the capital into "a by no means observed ahead of constitutional crisis".


The Delhi BJP leaders including Leader of Opposition Vijender Gupta on Friday began an indefinite speedy against Kejriwal's protest.


"With our starvation strike, we urge you and your ministers to seem past political interests and resume your responsibility of providing people the fundamental must haves," the letter added.
