PUNE: Out of the 650 scholars, 14 scholars had been present on the Dalvinagar faculty in Chinchwad on Monday. For the Pimpri Chinchwad police commissionerate, the Mahatma Phule English medium faculty at Premlok Park has been alloted. The scholars were shifted to the Dalvinagar faculty.
Last month, Manav Kamble, convener of the Manav Hakka Suraksha Samiti, and other social organizations protested against shifting of the college at Premlok Park. Students from the college and their folks protested against the civic body’s decision to hire out the college premises for the new police commissionerate. The protest was once staged outside the college on Friday. Parents stated their youngsters will face numerous disturbance on the Dalvinagar faculty, which is situated near the Pune-Mumbai railway tracks. The Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation appears firm on its decision. PCMC status committee chief Mamata Gaikwad has approved a short-notice answer on this regard.
District mum or dad minister Girish Bapat had stated that the commissionerate could be advanced on the faculty in Premlok Park earlier than August 15. Furniture paintings for the place of business would even be finished via next month. Apart from the college in Premlok Park, the police government had sent a suggestion to the civic administration to identify two locations for the commissionerate — a municipal faculty for boys at Nigdi and a sports activities membership in Bhosari survey numbers 66, 77, 58 and 59.
