NEW DELHI: Mercury slipped by several notches within the national capital an afternoon after the town was once hit by a mud hurricane, with the minimal temperature settling at a pleasant 23.four degrees Celsius.
The relative humidity recorded within the morning was once 70 per cent.
"The minimum settled at 23.4 degrees Celsius, five notches below normal. Weather today is pleasant due to rains and thunder storm yesterday," a MeT Department authentic mentioned.
The weatherman has forecast in part cloudy sky and really gentle rains or drizzle later within the day.
The minimal temperature recorded at different weather stations were -- Lodhi Road (25.3 degrees Celsius), Palam (23.6), Ayanagar (22.7) and Ridge (15).
On Saturday, the minimal temperature had settled at 30 degrees Celsius, two notches above the season's average whilst the maximum was once recorded at 40.5 degrees Celsius.
