Student loses hand, 10 injured in road accident

Hubballi: A 15-year-old pupil’s hand used to be chopped off and 10 others have been injured in a street coincidence in Bagalkot on Monday. The coincidence took place when a Tum Tum, through which scholars of St Annes School have been returning home after college , collided with a Bolero at Muchakhandi Çross at the Belagavi-Raichur freeway. Abhishek Babaladi’s hand used to be completely chopped off whilst any other pupil Amith Angadi, 14, suffered head injuries.
Malik John, Preeti Gaddanakeri, Spoorthi, Ankita Rathod, all 15, Shravan, 16, Tum Tum driving force Shanwaz Khazi and a biker Babusab Tamboli are among the different injured.

Those at the coincidence spot have been furious because the boy’s hand lay at the street facet.

Bagalkot traffic police said the injured scholars had been admitted to Kerudi Hospital. “Prima facie, it seems that that the motive force of the Bolero used to be riding rashly. MLA Veeranna Charantimath, Bagalkot deputy commissioner K G Shantaram, SP Vamshikrishna, former MLA P H Pujar, Basaveshwar Bank chairman Prakash Tapashetti and officials of the health and training departments visited the health center and consoled the injured scholars and their folks.


Police had a tough time as folks rushed to the health center and have been nervous to learn about their respective ward’s health. Hospital resources said the situation of four scholars used to be severe.
