Two killed as two bikes collide with KSRTC bus in KR Nagar

MYSURU: Two individuals died and two had been significantly injured when the bikes on which they had been travelling collided with a KSTRC bus at Chikkavaddaragudi village in KR Nagar on Sunday.
The deceased are GR Madhu, 38, from Gandhanahalli village in KR Nagar and Padmmamma, 42, from Harohalli village in Pandavapura taluk in Mandya district. The injured are Madhu's spouse Manjula and Padmmamma's nephew Chinnu.

The incident took place when Madhu and Manjula had been retuning to their village on their motorbike after visiting a temple in Chandagovanahalli village. Madhu, who was driving the motorbike, took a sudden right on the street.

The driver of the KSTRC bus, which was coming in the opposite direction, also grew to become the bus to the suitable, to steer clear of colliding with the motorbike. However, the bus rammed into every other motorbike on which Chinnu and Padmmamma had been travelling.

They had come to KR Nagar to distribute marriage invitation cards to their relations and had been returning to Pandavapura taluk. Due to the collision, Padmmamma died on the spot whilst Chinnu was significantly injured.


Meanwhile, Madhu's motorbike hit the rear finish of the KSRTC bus, killing him on the spot. His spouse Manjula was grievously injured.


The villagers rushed Manjula and Chinnu to KR Nagar Hospital.


Later Manjula was shifted to a private hospital in Mysuru. KR Nagar police have filed a case, and are investigating the coincidence.
