UP police organise 3-day summer camp for children

Noida: Noida Police on Sunday organised a three-day summer camp for children in Surajpur police line in Greater Noida. A total of 90 kids in the age staff of 8-14 are participating in the programme.

The programme has been organised in 12 districts of Uttar Pradesh in affiliation with the UNICEF. Ajay Pal Sharma, SSP Gautam Budh Nagar, mentioned that the purpose is to ensure total construction of the students and make them acquainted about police paintings.


The scholars have been knowledgeable about policing, dial 100, women helpline 1090, visitors laws, cybersecurity, fire-fighting, self-defence, horse riding, etc. They have been also knowledgeable about precautionary measures while travelling on my own. “They must observe down the automobile number and share with members of the family and pals while travelling on my own. They must even be alert and tell police if they suspect foul play. They have been also knowledgeable concerning the regulations and juvenile crimes. We gained a very good response from the contributors at the first day,” mentioned a Noida police spokesperson.


The initiative is a first-ever statewide summer camp for children in UP. The programme has been organised concurrently in Lucknow, Kanpur, Jhansi, Agra, Aligarh, Allahabad, Gorakhpur, Meerut, Bareilly, Moradabad, Noida and Ghaziabad from June 24 to 26. Over the following two days, competitions like painting, slogan writing and poem recitation will likely be organised for contributors and T-shirts and other presents will likely be allotted. Uttar Pradesh DGP OP Singh also took it to Twitter and appealed to the kids to enroll in the summer camp.
