KANPUR: UP leader minister Yogi Adityanath has requested why should Dalit and backward students now not get the advantage of caste reservation in Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) or Jamia Millia Islamia and questioned the silence of those that declare to be the “champions of the downtrodden” in a subtle connection with Samajwadi Party and Bahujan Samaj Party.
“Ek prashna yeh bhi puchha jana chahiye jo keh rahe hain ki Dalit ka apman ho raha hai, ki akhir Dalit bhaiyon ko Aligarh Muslim University aur Jamia Millia Islamia mein bhi aarakshan dene ka labh milna chahiye, is baat ko uthane ka karya kab karenge (Question should even be raised to all those that are pronouncing that Dalits are being subjected to humiliation that what are they doing for reservation for our dalit brothers in Aligarh Muslim University and Jamia Millia Islamia),” Yogi stated at a programme held on Monday at Chhibramau in Kannauj, the parliamentary constituency of SP leader Akhilesh Yadav’s spouse Dimple Yadav. “If BHU may give reservation to Dalits and backwards, then why not Aligarh Muslim University and Jamia,” he questioned.
Yogi also stated that the opposition used to be trying to defame BJP by means of pronouncing that it’s an anti-Dalit party.
Yogi also alleged that Congress leader Rahul Gandhi remembered temples best right through elections. “Four generations of Rahul’s family have by no means worn a‘janeu’ (sacred thread worn by means of Hindus), however on the time of elections, he displays his ‘janeu’. Four generations of Rahul Gandhi’s family by no means moved a step in opposition to a temple. One should consult with a temple with a feeling of devotion and now not for politics or to show off,” he stated.
The CM also accused Congress leaders of trying to demotivate the Indian Army.
