MUMBAI: A lady has accused an Uber driving force of sexually harassing her right through her trip. She claimed that the motive force used “particular” language to explain her to someone on the telephone and made vulgar remarks implying he sought after to harm her.
The woman lodged an online grievance with Uber and likewise were given a response from the Mumbai police, who assured that the motive force can be tracked down.
The complainant is concerned as the motive force knows her place of place of abode. She tweeted: “If that is the scenario on a Monday morning in Bombay, I will’t fathom what evening journeys in Delhi/Bangalore will have to really feel like. But thanks to everybody who reached out. I am hoping justice is served, and can do what I will to be sure that it's. Stay safe, ladies.”
An Uber spokesperson said: “What’s been described is deplorable and something nobody must ever go through. The driving force in question now not has access to the Uber app.”
