KANPUR: Bodies of a adolescence and a young woman were found hanging from a tree in Unnao's Sheikhpur Nari village on Thursday. Police were informed in regards to the incident and then circle officer, Kotwali police inspector and different officials reached the spot.
The adolescence used to be known as Sumit (19) and the woman used to be known as Komal (20). The bodies have been despatched for postmortem and the report is awaited.
The villagers alleged that the adolescence and the young woman have been murdered sooner than being hanged on the tree. The police, on the other hand, concluded that the 2 were in a courting and had committed suicide.
Dog squad and forensic experts also accompanied the police to carry out the investigation.
Talking to TOI, Inspector, Sadar Kotwali, Unnao, Arun Dwivedi said that Sumit and Komal committed suicide and were in a courting.
