COIMBATORE: Hell has no fury like a brand new bride who finds she has been cheated on.
Just five days after her wedding ceremony, a 22-year-old woman from Kinathukadavu was once ready at a bus prevent at Saibaba Colony on Wednesday night time along with her 20-year-old husband when she noticed a girl’s title tattooed on his arm. The glad, romantic mood unexpectedly evaporated. Giving the hapless guy an earful, the enraged woman began to beat him up in complete public view. Though the man tried to run for protection and even feigned a middle attack, the thrashing endured unabated.
Thanks to the bemused onlookers, who whipped out their cell phones, recorded the intense family drama and uploaded it on social media, the incident has long gone viral on Facebook and WhatsApp.
But one of the most onlookers took the couple to the Saibaba Colony police station. Officers there urged them not to fight within the public and requested the bride to means the Kinathukadavu police for complaint redressal.
Police assets told TOI that it was once the woman’s 2d marriage.
“After separating from her first husband, she and her child had been staying together with her oldsters. She had married the young guy after a love affair,” an officer mentioned.
