NEW DELHI: Amid growing unrest amongst milk farmers in Maharashtra in opposition to plummeting prices due to a glut, the Centre on Tuesday announced 10 according to cent incentive on exported milk products.

“We have a stock of about Three.5 lakh tonnes of milk powder. We need to export at least one lakh tonne to reduce the stock. We have proposed several interventions, which shall be formalised on Wednesday after we cling a gathering with external affairs minister Sushma Swaraj,” Gadkari mentioned while appealing to protesters to maintain peace and provides somewhat time to the government to handle the crisis.
