LUDHIANA : A police constable died, while two individuals — including a lady — suffered severe accidents, after the two motorcycles they have been riding on suffered a head-on collision close to Dholan village on Raikot-Jagraon Road on Tuesday. The deceased used to be identified as Nirbhay Singh of Cheema village, posted as constable on the District Police Lines in Jagraon. The injured man used to be identified as Iqbal Singh.
Police officers mentioned Nirbhay used to be on his strategy to his office in Jagraon on his two-wheeler, when a bike coming from the opposite facet close to Dholan village — with Iqbal and the girl — collided together with his bike. The trio have been rushed to Jagraon Civil Hospital by way of Jagraon MLA Sarabjit Kaur Manuke, where docs declared Nirbhay useless.
Cops mentioned Iqbal and the girl who had suffered severe accidents have been later referred by way of docs to a Ludhiana Hospital. They added that the situation of the duo remained severe.
