JAIPUR: The two-day shutdown of cell services and products in some primary cities of Rajasthan ended because the Rajasthan police constable exam came to a detailed on Sunday evening. Additional DGP (headquarters) Rajeev Sharma stated over 7 lakh candidates appeared for the examination on the remaining day, including that some other people tried to write the papers on behalf of others but have been nabbed.
“The written exam was once performed with none primary issues. Some impersonators and cheaters have been arrested,” Sharma told TOI.
Mobile internet services and products remained blocked till five pm on Sunday across Jodhpur, Jaipur and Udaipur. The exam, held in two shifts at 664 centres across 78 cities, was once the largest ever police recruitment in recent times.
The exam disrupted standard lifestyles as several on-line cabs remained grounded. Students from within sight cities like Alwar, Sikar and Dausa travelled to Jaipur in jam-packed buses and trains. Many candidates have been asked to take away their shirts. Women candidates have been directed to take away their footwear.
