Greater Noida set to allow bidding for single plot

Noida: The Greater Noida Industrial Development Authority (GNIDA) will introduce a sequence of amendments to the industrial land allotment coverage in a board meeting on July 7, its new CEO, Partha Sarthi Sen Sharma, mentioned on Tuesday.

The authentic mentioned the brand new laws would allow an investor to bid for individual plots. Earlier, a cluster of plots was opened for bidding and traders were assigned random plots. “This bidding process was no longer a viable model. Sometimes, bidders didn't like the plots allotted to them for projects. Under the brand new process, we will bid for every plot separately and the very best bidder shall be given the allotment,” he mentioned.


Sharma mentioned the brand new amendments were aimed toward attracting more investments. He mentioned GNIDA would also center of attention on digitalisation, which is able to enable lots of the paintings to be done on-line. “Land allotment procedures, finishing touch certificates of projects, tenders and other development paintings shall be done on-line. We are within the strategy of minimising forms. This will convey more transparency and efficiency within the processs,” Sharma mentioned.
