GURUGRAM: Angered via a pet canine that “barked and scared youngsters of their locality”, the canine owner’s cousin — a prison who's a member of the gang led via history-sheeter Sagar alias Tota of Harsaru village — shot the canine owner dead near the railway crossing at Sarai Allawardi on Wednesday morning. Later, irked via the daylight homicide, a mob of villagers blocked the railway track for round an hour.
The trouble had been simmering since July 14, when the circle of relatives of Mahesh Yadav (37), residents of Sarai Allawardi village near Palam Vihar, submitted a criticism with police after a dispute between the two neighbouring households, over Gorkha’s pet canine. Gorkha’s brothers used to let his pet Labrador loose in entrance of Mahesh’s house on a regular basis. “The canine would bark loudly, scaring our youngsters. When we protested, they picked a combat, threatening to kill Mahesh,” said Mahesh’s brother Suraj.
On Wednesday, Mahesh had long gone to the bus forestall near the railway crossing at 6.40am to see off his two kids, who're nine-year-old twins, to university. Minutes later, the accused, Rajiv alias Bhind alias Gorkha (35), arrived in a white Scorpio SUV with his actual brother Devender (33). They shot at Mahesh six occasions, killing him on the spot. Four bullets were fired from Gorkha’s pistol, with the opposite two fired from Devender’s country-made pistol.
“Mahesh used to be ready with his youngsters for the college bus to reach near the railway crossing, when Gorkha and Devender arrived in a SUV. The blockade delayed three trains, including the Rewari-Delhi Passenger — which crosses Gurugram railway station at 7.30am — via half an hour.
Based on the criticism via Mahesh’s circle of relatives, they later registered a case towards Gorkha, Devender, their mom Roshni and 4 unknown individuals. Pawan Yadav, SHO of Gurugram GRP police station, said Gorkha, Devender, Roshni and 4 unknown individuals were booked for homicide. “We’re investigating the case,” said the SHO.
Dr Deepak Mathur, who performed the autopsy, said, “The man died because of multiple bullet accidents in his head and neck. Two bullets were lodged in his head, two in his neck and one in his chest. Another bullet handed blank via his proper arm. There used to be a 1cm-wide oval entry wound with dark burnt edges on his head, which most effective happens from burns brought about via a bullet fired from very shut quarters, mostly from lower than a foot.”
