PATIALA: Gurwinder Singh, head munshi posted at the Chhajli police station in Sangrur district died after one of the crucial weapons he was cleaning went off accidentally early on Thursday morning.
SHO Deepinder Singh stated Gurwinder had been working at the weapons throughout the ammunition room at the police stations when a gun accidentally went off. The bullet hit Gurwinder from an excessively close vary and he died at the spot.
