Infy to build software development centre in Noida

MUMBAI: IT giant Infosys stated on Sunday it could construct a device construction centre in Noida in Uttar Pradesh, with an initial investment of about Rs 750 crore($109 million).

India's second-biggest device services and products exporter stated the two.7 million square toes facility would be capable of accommodate five,000 personnel.

"The facility is a critical part of our effort to enhance our presence in the national capital region and leverage the talent pool available in this market," chief government officer (CEO) Salil Parekh stated in a observation.


This month Infosys retained its 6 to eight per cent earnings expansion outlook for the fiscal 12 months to March, with Parekh making upbeat comments about call for for the company's services and products in key markets the United States and Europe.


In its quarterly results declared earlier this month, Infosys reported a a consolidated web profit of Rs 3,612 crore, up 3.7 per cent in comparison with Rs 3,483 crore within the year-ago period. The corporate's earnings from operations greater 12 per cent to Rs 19,128 crore.


At 10 am on Monday, the Infosys inventory was down 1.11 per cent at Rs 1,359.25
