Ludhiana-Delhi flight on Sundays soon

LUDHIANA: There is excellent news for widespread flyers between Ludhiana and New Delhi as the city can have a flight even on Sundays quickly. As of now, the flight between two towns operates four days a week and doesn’t function on Sundays.
Airport director Anand Narayan Sharma said Alliance Air flight would now function 5 days a week including on Sundays. He added that flight on Sundays will start from next week (July 29).

The 2nd good information for citizens is that the flight will function within the morning hours. Whereas the flight will take off from Indira Gandhi International Airport at 7.30am, it's going to arrive at Sahnewal Airport at eight.45am. The 70-seater flight will take off from Sahnewal Airport at 9.15am and it's going to succeed in Delhi at 10.30am.

As of now, the flight between two towns flies on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.

Airport officials said whereas the flight will elevate around 40 passengers from Sahnewal to Delhi, the flight from Delhi will elevate 70 passengers. They said this is as a result of the truth that there's chance considering commencing with upper load (complete capability) from Sahnewal Airport because of presence of high timber.


The airport government said they expect a good reaction to the flight on Sunday because the flight already running between two towns has occupancy of greater than 80%.


The citizens, in the meantime, say the beginning of flight on Sundays is excellent news.


“It is excellent news as we can have choice of flying by means of air on Sundays as smartly. The perfect part is that flight will function within the morning hours and we can fly to Delhi and continue in opposition to other locations on the identical day,” said Satpal Singh, a city-based businessman.
