NEW DELHI: A 57-year-old man on Saturday allegedly attempted suicide by way of leaping in entrance of a shifting educate at the JLN Stadium metro station right here, police stated.
The incident took place this morning and the man was once later rescued, a senior DMRC legit stated.
"Around 8:44 am, an old man allegedly jumped in front of an approaching train at the JLN Stadium station. The train was heading towards Badarpur," he stated.
The man, known as Tek Chand, was once despatched to a health center nearby, the police stated, including he is secure.
Investigation is underway and additional main points are awaited.
