Markets open positive, Sensex regains 36,400-mark

NEW DELHI: Monday's stutter in the fairness markets proved to be a blip as traders turned certain in Tuesday's early industry with Sensex and Nifty gaining zero.40 according to cent in the morning.


30-share BSE Sensex regained the 36,400-mark in morning industry after opening just under the mental mark. Broader 50-share NSE Nifty too, was once consolidating after opening flat at 10,939.65.


Asian shares have been sedate for the second one straight day on Tuesday, weighed via a sharp decline in crude oil costs as Libyan ports reopened, while the dollar steadied ahead of Federal Reserve Chairman Jerome Powell’s first congressional testimony.


Among sectors, Nifty FMCG was once the one sub-index in the crimson, while Nifty PSU Bank was once rallying probably the most at nearly 1 according to cent.


ICICI Bank, Tata Motors, Reliance and Sun Pharma have been gaining probably the most.
