MUMBAI: A truck carrying bottles of mineral water overturned at the Lalbaug flyover in Mumbai on Friday at 10 am, significantly disrupting traffic motion. The flyover was shut as authorities introduced in cranes to transport the heavy automobile.
"Traffic police personnel immediately arrived at the spot and issued diversions. Vehicles were directed below the bridge as efforts were made to tow away the truck," said a police respectable. However, the truck could now not be moved even two hours after the accident.
"There were traffic snarls from central to south Mumbai. Lalbaug flyover is very busy otherwise," said a motorist. Additional traffic staff were posted to steer the motorists.
