'On deathbed, Humayun advised Babur to respect cows'

JAIPUR : Rajasthan Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) president Madan Lal Saini claimed that when Mughal emperor Humayun used to be on his deathbed, he advised his father, Babur, to respect cows, brahmins and ladies with the intention to proceed ruling India.
"When Humayun was dying, he called Babur and told him -if you want to rule Hindustan, you must keep three things in mind- respect cows, brahmins and women," he advised reporters here.


It is also noted that Babur, Humayun's father, died in 1531 - virtually 25 years before Humayun breathed his closing in 1556.


The Rajasthan BJP chief's statement got here days after a Muslim guy used to be allegedly crushed to death by means of a mob on suspicion of cow smuggling in Rajasthan's Alwar district.


According to the postmortem document, Khan died of "shock as a result of ante-mortem injuries sustained over the body."


The post-mortem further mentioned that the 28-year-old victim suffered 13 injuries in total, including eight bruises, two abrasions, a laceration, a fracture within the wrist and every other in left femur.
