NEW DELHI. Prime Minister Narendra Modi could now not hold again his laughter after Congress president Rahul Gandhi accused him of being unable to appear him within the eye .
Why? Because unfortunately, the Hindi word Rahul used to communicate was now not moderately right kind.
“Pradhanmantri apni aankh meri aankh mein nahi daal sakte”, he mentioned. "The PM can't put his eyes into mine," was how that transliterates.
What Rahul meant to mention was "The PM can't look me in the eye."
Through most of Rahul's speech, Modi could be seen both sitting impassively or smiling laconically, but he erupted into guffaws when Rahul made that error.
Following this - but now not because of it - speaker Sumitra Mahajan adjourned the home for a period of five mins.
