NEW DELHI: A day after the Supreme Court dominated in favour of Delhi govt in latter's tussle with the Centre, LG Kiran Bedi on Wednesday stated that the SC's verdict cannot be carried out for Puducherry as each the union territories are ruled by means of separate articles of the Constitution of India.

Highlighting a bit of the apex courtroom's verdict, delivered the previous day, Bedi pointed that while Delhi is ruled by means of the provisions of Article 239AA, Puducherry is ruled below the provisions of Article 239A of the Constitution of India.


"Puducherry cannot be compared to Delhi...Hence, the yesterday's verdict for Delhi cannot be implemented for Puducherry," she stated in a second tweet written in Hindi.
