GURUGRAM: Union minister Rajnath Singh will launch the national Student Police Cadet programme from Tau Devi Lal Stadium in Gurugram on Saturday.

Cops have stepped up security and site visitors control for the development at which leader minister Manohar Lal Khattar and different ministers will probably be provide.


A complete of 7,000 scholars of categories 8 and 9 from across the nation will participate within the one-day programme through which they're going to learn about social problems and values, legislation, Constitution and many others to cause them to responsible citizens. The programme will include studies, physical coaching, field visits, SPC camps and practical tasks. The kids may also be taught communication abilities, crisis control and about well being and hygiene at the tournament.


To make the development a good fortune, over 750 cops will probably be deployed across the town, of which 300 will look after site visitors and the remaining will care for security at the venue and nearby spaces.


“We are keeping a strict vigil at the borders and feature known delicate spaces of town. Elaborate site visitors and security plans have been drawn up to ensure that the development goes smoothly,” Gurugram police commissioner K K Rao stated.
