VIJAYAWADA: A polytechnic student (19) used to be allegedly gang-raped via 4 friends in Vijayawada. The police have detained all the 4 accused. There used to be a political event of the TDP at Vijayawada on Wednesday, so a police staff were despatched to Payakapuram to oversee the site visitors there. While coming again, the law enforcement officials saw 4 individuals travelling with a girl, so drowsy that she used to be unable to walk correctly.
Alarmed, the policemen took them into custody and inquired into the subject when they got here to grasp that the 4 individuals had raped the woman via giving her chilly drink laced with sedatives.
The victim belonging to the Gunadala area research in a local school. One of her friends had invited her to a birthday party. She accepted the invitation and went with him the place he offered her chilly drink. When she began feeling drowsy, he took her near VUDA Colony and requested his friends also to return there. Then the 4 allegedly raped her. While they're coming again, police noticed them and detained them.
Later, police despatched the victim to the federal government health center for clinical examination.
