TN realtor murder: Seven surrender

CHENNAI: Seven males, who were allegedly concerned within the murder of a realtor, surrendered at the Sriperumbudur courtroom on Friday. The males had been recognized as Saravanan, 32, Samuvel, 21, Gopi, 22, Abinash, 24, Sivaraman, 19, Sivakumar, 20, Dinesh, 21.

On Thursday, around nine.15am, the realtor, Suresh, was murdered in full public view 100m from the college at Indira Nagar the place he dropped his kids.

Police stated aside from Saravanan, not one of the males concerned the crime has a felony file. Saravanan was enthusiastic about murder makes an attempt in 2013, police stated.

Police stated even supposing Suresh was a resident of T M Mastry Street in Indira Nagar, he stayed at his mother-in-law's space in Malligai Poo Nagar fearing attacks from his rivals.


"Although the assailants have surrendered, we are yet to establish the motive. Only after taking them into custody we would be able to know why they bumped off Suresh," stated an investigating officer.


"It could be due to business rivalry. Suresh had already faced some trouble in the past and had lodged complaints with the police," he stated. He have been ceaselessly moving his deal with fearing attacks from his rivals, the officer stated.


The courtroom has remanded the seven males in judicial custody.
