Palestinian teen dies of wounds from border clash: ministry

GAZA CITY: A Palestinian teenager died of his wounds Saturday a day after he used to be shot through Israeli troops throughout clashes at the Gaza border, the territory's Hamas-run health ministry said.

Muadh al-Suri, 15, used to be shot within the stomach on Friday in central Gaza, ministry spokesman Ashraf al-Qudra said, elevating the number of Palestinians killed through Israeli hearth throughout the ones clashes to 2, with over 200 wounded.

According to the Israeli military, some 8,000 Gazans had accrued at different spots alongside the frontier Friday, making an attempt to sabotage the Israeli border fence.

Quite a few Palestinians "infiltrated" Israel and threw firebombs and "an explosive device" prior to returning to Gaza, it said.

Another Palestinian, 25-year-old Ahmed Yaghi, used to be killed through a sniper east of Gaza City on Friday.

Yaghi and Suri have been buried on Saturday.

At least 159 Palestinians were killed in border demonstrations that started on the finish of March, whilst one Israeli soldier has been shot lifeless.

Palestinians have also flown balloons and kites carrying incendiary gadgets across the border, beginning hundreds of fires within Israel.

On Saturday, the Israeli military said an airplane had fired at "a terrorist squad" launching "arson balloons" at Israel.


Palestinian assets said a drone used to be utilized by the army but that no person used to be wounded within the attack.


With borders to both Egypt and Israel in large part sealed lately, Gaza suffers from desperately prime rates of poverty and unemployment.


Israel insists its blockade is important to isolate Gaza's Islamist Hamas rulers, with which it has fought three wars since 2008.


Critics say it amounts to collective punishment of the coastal territory's two million residents.
