Senior Congress leader Gurudas Kamat passes away

NEW DELHI: Senior Congress leader Gurudas Kamat passed on to the great beyond in a health center in Delhi on Wednesday, reported news company ANI.

He was once 63.

Kamat served as a Union minister in the UPA-II govt. He was once minister of state (MoS) in the ministry of home affairs and was once in 2011 also assigned fee as MoS at the telecommunications and information generation ministry.


He was once a Member of the Parliament for the Mumbai North West constituency of Maharashtra in 2009 and Mumbai North East constituency of Maharashtra in 1984, 1991, 1998 and 2004


Kamat was once a commerce graduate and had a law stage from the Government Law College, Mumbai.
