NEW DELHI: Here's another consequence that proves that India's taking pictures bench-strength is having a look excellent. Rising Indian shooter Manisha Keer clinched the silver medal in the junior girls's lure event on the ongoing ISSF World Championship at Changwon, South Korea on Monday.

The 19-year-old Manisha, who hails from a village at the outskirts of Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh narrowly misplaced the gold in a shoot-off after equalling the junior world document in the finals.
The total rankings of Italy's Erica Sessa, who received the gold, and Manisha were stage at 41 after the general standings and the previous clinched the highest prize in a disturbing shoot-off. Russia's Daria Semianova were given the bronze after finishing third with a complete rating of 31. India on Sunday also bagged two medals in the junior events. The junior events don't seem to be offering Olympic quotas.

The International Shooting Sport Federation's (ISSF) premier match is an important one as it is the first Olympic quota event for the Tokyo Olympics.
Moudgil completed 2nd at the podium behind Korean Hana Im (251.1) and ahead of bronze-medallist Eunhea Jung (228.0), who could also be from Korea.
The 24-year-old Moudgil shot a complete of 248.4 in the eight-woman final to open the Indian senior squad's medal account in the prestigious match.
While the similarly talented Chandela aggregated 207 to finish fourth but nonetheless made the lower since a country can clinch two Olympic quota puts in this event.
