JAIPUR: Election Commission on Saturday issued understand to 5 Congress leaders for placing up excessive posters and hoardings throughout Congress President Rahul Gandhi’s discuss with to Jhalawar in alleged violation of type code of conduct.
The Congress leaders are Surat Ram Gurjar, Virendra Singh Jhala, Braj Mohan Bairwa, Rafique Mansuri and Imran Khan.
"During Congress President Rahul Gandhi’s visit to Jhalawar they put up excessive posters and hoardings. The leaders, who have been issued notice, put up those hoardings on a PWD pathway near SRV hospital in Jhalawar without permission. We have sought a reply from all the leaders," stated Rakesh Meena, Returning officer, Jhalrapatan.
“They aren't even celebration applicants, however they put up those posters with their names. They are all ticket aspirants,” he added.
