Imran Khan vows to make Pakistan 'cleaner than Europe'

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan on Saturday vowed to make Pakistan "cleaner than Europe" as he officially introduced a marketing campaign geared toward improving sanitary conditions within the country.

Khan planted a sapling and participated within the 'Clean and Green Pakistan' force on the Model College for Girls in Islamabad, consistent with Radio Pakistan.

Speaking at the instance, the prime minister suggested the scholars and early life to lead the marketing campaign as it is hooked up with the future of the rustic.

Khan vowed to make the rustic "cleaner than Europe" in 5 years.

"For this to happen, we will also have to bring a change in our mindset," he said.

He identified that "plantation is imperative to protect the environment and check global warming".

He said Pakistan is the 7th maximum prone country to international warming. He discussed that Lahore is likely one of the cities where the air pollution degree could be very high.


Khan claimed his celebration's government had planted a thousand million trees in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province.


He said his government has now set a target of planting 10 billion trees across the country which he said will trade the weather trend.
