Low pressure likely to cause rainfall in Odisha from October 10

BHUBANESWAR: The formation of a low force over Bay of Bengal is prone to trigger rainfall in several parts of Odisha from October 10, the Meteorological Centre here said Sunday.

The low force space, formed over south-east Bay Of Bengal and adjacent north Andaman Sea, may be very prone to turn out to be well marked and listen right into a depression on Monday, it said in a bulletin.


The low force is prone to move northwestwards towards Odisha all over the following 72 hours. Under its influence, rain and thundershower is prone to happen in many parts of the state for two to 3 days from October 10, it said.


Some places in coastal area of the state are expected to enjoy heavy rainfall.


In view of the adverse weather prerequisites, the MeT centre has prompt fishermen to not project into the deep sea at south-east and adjacent east-central Bay Of Bengal all over the following 24 Hours and over central and adjacent north Bay Of Bengal until October 10.


Those who're out in deep sea were prompt to return to the coast via Monday night.
